How I Do__Manicures

I thought I would share with you how I have been taking care of my nails recently. It is a goal of mine for the summer to take better care of my nails. I did a bit of research and this is the regime that I came up with that best suits my lifestyle, which is not fussy.

Step One__Cuticles
- What I do first is takes Sally Hansen's Cuticle Gel Remover and soften up my cuticles then take an orange stick and push my cuticles back.
-Then you wash the product off your hands

Step Two__File
-This doesn't need much explaining. I use a gritty nail file because I feel that it helps strengthen my nails.

Step Three__Buff
-I only do this step every other week so that my nails have some time to grow out before I buff them up. This step has really helped my nail polish stick on much better and it also allows your nails to look well groomed if you decided not to wear nail polish.

Step Four__Paint
-For my base coat I use Sally Hansen's Continuous Growth, to help my nails to be healthy. I then use what ever nail polish I desire for that week. My two favorite nail polish brands are OPI and Revlon. For a topcoat, since I usually paint my nails at night before I go to bed, I use a fast dry top coat. I am using Insta-Dry, which is also anti chip.

Photos of The Week___Night Lights

Took some photos with my dad on a bridge overlooking the 101 freeway. These are some of the photos that I took. The last one I edited a bit, giving a vintage feel that I am liking.

Music Monday__Charli XCX

So this woman has a very electric dirty bubblegum pop sound to her. I found her with the song "You (Ha Ha Ha)," in which she is sampling from another song that I like "You" by Gold Panda.

The Next Song by her that I am loving is "Take my Hand," which was produced by Urban Outfitters. Her whole vibe reminds me of a futuristic 90s era singer. Her songs will keep you happy and wanting some more.

Music Monday__Drifting In and Out by Porcelain Raft

So this has been a song that I have been listening on and off for the past couple of weeks. I am loving the melodic beat with the continuous electric guitar picking that is happening in the background.

Celebrity Fashion__Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus's recent fashion looks have been something I have been loving. She has been rocking the monochromatic punk looks as well as channeling a hip/hop grungy vibe.  Miley has joined the beanie club and we welcome her with open arms (as being a person who could wear a beanie every day of the week). Beanies are a great accessorie if you are having a bad hear day or just want to emit a laid back feel. In addition to Miley wearing beanies, she has being accessorizing with gold jewelry, on her fingers and around her neck. She has even been rocking some gold nails that I would like to do a tutorial on possibly. In regards to the rings, the picture that I posted reminds me of hardware, which has been something that I want to try out this summer. So I have provided a link below to what I mean by using hardware as jewelry.  Lastly, to rock your inner Miley, cropped tops are a must. These can be found almost every, such as American Apparel, Nasty Gal, and Topshop.

Music Monday _ We Can't Stop

I know that this song won't be everyone's cup of tea. However I am a fan of Miley Cyrus as some of you know, and I will support something that I like. The song is catchy and if you actually listen to the lyrics, they are kind of scandalous ..which means I LOVE IT. The party she describes is my kind of party I will have to say.
