Claw Nails

So I was watching Florence and the Machine's new music video "Spectrum" and I realized that she was trending the new claw nails that I have seen become popular recently. Other celebrities such as Demi Lovato, Rhianna, and Lady Gaga have also been rocking this trend. At first I will have to say that I was not a fan. However, every time I keep seeing them, I am liking them more and more, I don't know if I could do this with my nails naturally, since my nails are so thing, but if I was going to an even and wanted something different, maybe some stick on nails that I shaped into points. How does everyone else feel about this nail trend? Comment below.

This week's Inspiration

So for the week I have really been inspired to wear denim shorts with loose tops, bustiers, experimenting with levels, and incorporating color back into my life.

update: I was not able to find a swimsuit patter, so I guess I am going to have to make my own.

So I have been getting into the swimsuit season by loosing weight, and I thought that for this year I could make them, since I never like what I see in stores, however I can't find any patterns, does anyone know where I could buy some?

Let the Summer Begin

Summer has just started, however that doesn't mean that I will be slowing down. I will hopefully be getting a summer paid internship with a design company, and I am going to be working on an online store which I hope to open in June. I have also been working on some sewing projects to keep my mind active. It has been nice being back home, however I do miss New York City, I was there for the weekend and loved. I was there with my mom and we walked and took the subway everywhere. We even went to Mood Fabric store and to a few bead shops which was a lot of fun.
