Qiu Hao

I would like to introduce you to a Chinese fashion designer. His name is Qiu Hao. I first discovered in watching a tv show on ovation tv called designer label (I think). He is amazing. I love his since of style and the way he creates clothes. I hope he becomes more popular or that I can at least my something from his collections. I am really impressed with is use of knits. I love to knit, so to see him use very chunky yarn and make huge garments really inspires me. Well i just wanted to tell you about him.

Taylor Momsen/ I am still alive!!

I will have to say sorry for not making a post earlier, but I have been super busy with school. However, I didn't want to leave you hanging for any longer. I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite idols, Taylor Momsen. I must first tell you why I like her. First of all, it is not because she is on "Gossip Girl." I don't even watch that slightly pornographic show, which to some of my friends is really addictive. However, I do like her because I lover her music. She is in the band Pretty Reckless which is rock n' roll. They are amazing. Second reason I like her is because of her fashion since. She has a punk rock/feminine style and it is amazing. I wish that I could pull off half the stuff she wears. However, I am too much of wimp, and it is not really my style. But, maybe one day I will rock that mini black dress with thigh high tights one day.

Regarding the 30 day challenge that I talked about earlier, it has been pretty good. I think that i am getting toner now that I am not being a lazy *ss in practice. (You have to see it from my point, track conditioning started in november last year, however the season didn't even start till february. I am just tired of track). Any way, I just wanted to say that I am still alive.

Oh and I almost forgot, I got my first NYLON magazine the other day. I AM NOW IN LOVE WITH NYLON. I just love the layout of the magazine and the way that they present themselves. It is definitely becoming one of my monthly magazines that I will buy. Well, talk to you guys later. bye!!

So this passing weekend was Coachella. It is a huge music festival that is held near Palm Springs in the Dessert. Some of the big artists performing were Jay-z, Muse, and Gorrillaz. Well, before it actually happened, I was pondering if I wanted to go or not, however, I didn't have the money. But now that Coachella is now over and won't be back for a whole year, I really want to go. Starting now, I am going to be saving up money. Here are a few coachella styles worn by random people.

I will have to say that at first I wasn't too excited about the trends for spring. They just didn't excite me. Especially the military trend. However, at this exact moment, I am loving the military trend. Here are a few that I really liked.

What an amazing day

Today has been pretty good. I went to Jet Rag today, located on La Brea, so that I could be apart of their $1 sunday sale. It was an experience I must say. they pile all the clothes outside of their store on the floor. That part was kinda gross but I found 5 great items. What I liked about the sale was that all the clothes were $1. What I didn't like were some of people. They were so defensive. They would have huge piles of clothes and i thought it were just some clothes that were being sold. NO!! It was there own personal stash that they add accumulated from the bigger piles. But I don't really care. I went into the store later and got two items, a purse and some sunglasses.

Later today, my sister and I were walking the dogs and decided to have a photo shoot on the way. it was pretty fun. However, we didn't walk far because it got really hot. ( which is kinda ironic since know the weather outside is very foggy and I think it is raining, but I can't tell from my dirty windows). Talk to you guys later. bye!!!

Bikini Challenge

Hey you guys,
So today I was in my room thinking and thought about doing a 30 day Bikini challenge. I am doing this because summer is coming up and I would really like to wear a lot of cropped shirts and other short shorts. I am not saying that I am fat or anything but I am not really toned in some areas including my arms, butt, and stomach. I am not going to show you pictures of me right now just because I am already in my PJs. Maybe tomorrow.

So what this challenge will consist of is me eating only veggies, fruit, and some soy products. I will not be able to eat any bread or nuts. and absolutely no sugar.

I will also be doing a lot of ab workouts and but exercises. I am on my schools track team right now, but I haven't really been taking it seriously, so I will be running harder and maybe in my free time. Wish me luck.

Goal: to reach low 140s or high 130s. I am 149 lbs right now. (I can't believe I just shared that with you guys. yikes!!) anyway...I am not so much on trying to loose weight but rather tone up.

Two Blogs

So i have two blogs. One on tumbler and this one. I think that I am going to use this blog for more written blogs and stuff, and then it might change in the future. and I will use my other blog, which there is a link in the side bar, and that will be more of pictures. I may put a lot of pictures on this one and write sometimes on the other one but I have not made up my mind yet. talk to you guys later. bye!!!

I'll Be Known Around The World

Well, I probably won't be known around the world, however, I just wanted to say that I have realized the people who are the closest to me, don't believe in me and my dreams. I mean, my mom does but she can't really say that I couldn't become a fashion designer. I think she knows that I have potential and just wants to warn me of the struggles that will come and the road to owning my own company will be a long one. However, my dad on the other hand and my sister too. they don't really believe in me. My dad thinks its a stupid fantasy and wants me to drop it and look for a career that is more practical. However, I don't know what else to do with my life. I can't really see myself doing anything that doesn't involve fashion. i just don't think that I will be happy.

I know that who ever comes across my blog could not really asses if I could go far or not. So tomorrow, i am going to show you my sketches and some clothes that I have either sewn completely or reconstructed. Talk to you guys later. bye!!!

well, Today I haven't been up to much. I have been sketching all day and took a tiny break by making dinner for my family. I made macaroni and cheese. It was really good. Well, i will hopefully finish my shirt tonight so that I can post pictures tomorrow. Wish me luck

Okay, so I know that many people do no like Miley Cyrus for whatever reason. Either you don't like her acting, her singing or that she is soo famous with little talent. however that is not the reason I am talking about her today. Despite what everyone says about her , I really like her fashion taste. She is very laid back with what ever she wears and that is what I like about her. So tell me what you think about her style, not about what you think of her as a celeb.

Where's the Break?

Well, I have only had two days to this break and I am already stressed. Doesn't that sound crazy? I have this huge art project, class homework, and today my track coach decided she wanted to assign me homework too!!! can she do that? what ever. Oh and also I have a lot of applications to fill out. Sorry about the rant today. Tomorrow I will have something fashion related.

Well, so far today I have been working on this art collage that I have to do for my art class. I have to paint all these famous pictures from different time periods. so far, it has been really hard placing them together on one board. I will so you guys later when there is some progress.

I was looking at old post that I have made, even though there are very few, i had realized that when I had told you guys about my favorite blogs, i had left out my favorite blogger. Her name is Ida and she is from Denmark. I have to say that I look forward to her blog posts everyday. She is a inspiration for me regarding fashion. I love everything she wears.
