June Inspirations

MUSIC:

I will have to say that my girl Miley has really inspired me in more than just one way with her new single this month "We Can't Stop." I have not only seen some fashion/beauty inspiration that I channeled from her music video, it just made me think deeper about myself and to do want I want to do, no matter what others think as long as it makes me happy.

Fashion and Beauty wise, what has inspired me fromt the music video is the red lip mixed with a monochrome outfit, mesh, and stacked rings.

MOVIES:
Given that a lot of movies came out this month, I will have to say that not many of them were that great or did well. A movie that I particularly liked was "The Bling Ring." I was very interested in the whole Celebrity Mentality and how everyone wanted to be apart of the Celebrity lifestyle and be in these celebrities life. I think when the actual robing happened, I was not very interested in the news so I didn't remember the whole case. But the way the story was told, made me understand why the characters might of robbed the celebrities homes, not really to take their stuff for the money, but to become apart of these celebrities lives, in what ever way possible. If you have not seen this movie yet, I would recommend you go out and see it.

FASHION:

A few fashion trends/looks that I have been loving this month is Monochrome, mixing black and white. I have also been loving to layer, even if it is summer. I have love been wearing vests with my outfits. In addition to the Monochrome look, I have also been starting to like the sports lux trend, which I hoping to start incorporating more into my outfits I already own

Hair Series__Pink What? [PART ONE]

So I think I am going to do a Hair Series, which will be somewhat of a journey for me. I am starting to take better care of my hair in regards to how much heat I put on it and how often I was my hair and keeping it moisturized. Now I need to give my hair definite style that I can keep up with. So for the first part of my series, which I think will be about 5 parts. I am going to talk about inspiration of the direction I want my hair to go in.

I am wanting to grow my hair long, however since it is still pretty much short, I need to have a hair cut for the length it is now that can then be easily transitioned into medium, shoulder length hair. I going to add some long layers into my hair to give it more movement. I have loved front bangs, however since I don't get them trimmed that often they turn more into side bangs, which I think works better for me, I am going to keep them on the longer side so that if I don't feel like bangs one day, I can easily push them back. I am going to get my hair cut on Friday so I will post some photos of before and after then to show you how it turned out.

I am wanting to go Pink again. However, usually in the summer I try not to be as fussy with my hair which is why there isn't pink in my hair at the moment. Since I am not going to bleach my hair completely blonde, due to the fact that it is really damaging and I already relax my hair, the pink  is going to be more on the darker side, slightly emitting a cranberry color effect (such as the 2nd photo)

Music Monday__Skylar Grey

So some of you may know of Skylar Grey for her collaborations with Dr. Dre in "I need a Doctor" and in Diddy's song "Coming Home." I have been loving her melodic voice, however I haven't acknowledged her as an individual artist. So I had stumbled across her new song on Youtube "Wear me Out," (third video) which lead me to "Final Warning" (first video), and finally "C'mon Let me Ride" ft. Eminem. I think she has a fresh sound to her and likes to have a combination of serious and silly songs which I like in an artist.

So I have recently acquired my dad's old camera. And that camera was much nicer then the camera I had before. I had done my last post with the new camera. I was out and about with my sister on Saturday so we thought why not do a proper outfit of the day post.
